We’re excited to announce that Around has been acquired by Miro, the online platform accelerating innovation through visual collaboration.
When we started Around, our goal was to create a modern, collaborative meeting experience that would empower makers to create magic together from anywhere in the world. Miro has a similar mission — empowering teams to come together to create the next big thing — and it made perfect sense for us to join forces.
In the near future, our product will start reflecting our updated brand, Around by Miro Labs. Additionally, we are exploring how we can add Miro’s visual collaboration functionalities into Around for an even better experience. We plan to continue our work improving and evolving our existing signature features to help ensure that we can support all collaborative workflows with your favorite apps.
Around by Miro Labs will remain available and free of charge for the foreseeable future, and with Miro’s support, we now have even more resources to continue building products to delight our users.
The last several years have been an incredible journey and learning experience for us, but of course, none of this would be possible without our wonderful customers.
